Bobbie Cook, 82 of Ninety Six, widow of Bobby Cook, entered eternal rest on Friday April 10, 2026 after an extended illness with family by her side.
She was born to Roy and Jessie Mae Holden in Pickens County on November 25, 1943. She retired from the Department of Disabilities and Special Needs before becoming a caretaker for multiple members of her family.
Mrs. Cook was an avid fisherman, thrift shopper, crocheter and enjoyed an occasional banana split while spending time with those around her doing the same.
Mrs. Cook was of the Baptist Faith and attended Cross Roads Baptist Church with her family while the church was open.
Mrs. Cook was predeceased by both parents Roy Holden and Jessie Mae Holden (Rooker), a daughter Pamela Hammett, sisters Bonnie Mae Bruce, Elizabeth Ann Sokol, Laura Faye Gregg and brother Benny Holden. Mrs. Cook was preceded by her husband Bobby Cook
She is survived by daughter Veronica Fletcher (James) of Burnsville North Carolina and son Troy Cook (Erica) of Laurens South Carolina, a brother Tom Holden (Sue) of Prescott AZ, grandchildren Ernest Delgado of Texas, Heath Hammett of North Carolina, Thomas Smith and Jolene West of Union South Carolina and great grandchild Jaxson Delgado of Texas.
Mrs. Cook leaves behind special friends Jamie Bell and Stella Tatum.
