Carolyn “Tinx” Cromer, 68, passed away on February 13, 2025, in Greenville, South Carolina. Born on March 13, 1956, in Salisbury, North Carolina, she was known for her strength and resilience and was deeply devoted to her family.
Carolyn found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved fishing and tending to her yard, taking pride in keeping her home beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. She had a special gift with animals and formed deep connections with those around her.
She is survived by her brother, David Burton; her sister, Jean Holland; her daughter, Kathy Guinn (Mark); her son, Lakeish Burton; her granddaughter, Mackenzie Guinn; as well as numerous nieces and nephews and their children. She also leaves behind cherished friends who were like family to her. Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, Sherwood and Etta Mae Burton; her sisters, Rita Woodward and Kathy Rogers; and her beloved dog, Raymond.
A memorial service to honor Carolyn’s life will be held on February 21, 2025, at 3:00 PM at Believer’s Assembly, located at 236 Little Acres Rd., Clinton, South Carolina.
Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
