Robin built his career as a Cutter in the timber logging industry, working with companies such as Harmon Logging, CK Dolittle, Southern Pine Logging, Blaze Transport, and others. He took immense pride in his work and was widely regarded as one of the best in the state. His dedication to his craft was matched only by his commitment to those he loved.

Robin’s greatest pride was his family. He is survived by his daughters Holly Perry (Paul) and Heather Perry; grandchildren Austin Blackwell, Abbygail Blackwell, Kale Simmons, Bryson Simmons, Tori Hamilton, Chloe Perry, Mason Perry, Dylan Avery, and Eastin Perry. He also leaves behind his siblings: sisters Vicky Rushton, Kim Bagwell, Jan Ham, Dale Shealy, Faye Couch, Agnes Barber, Brenda Eaves; and brother James Black.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Regina Holder Perry; daughter Dana Perry; mother Betty Lou Bundrick; and father Horace Earl Perry.
