Steve Brown, 72, of Clinton passed away on September 1, 2024 after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease. He is now rejoicing in Heaven with his Savior, Jesus Christ and is fully healed.
Steve was born on February 12, 1952 in Clinton, SC to Tom and Virginia Brown.
Steve was a husband, father, brother, and “Pops” to his five grandchildren. He is survived by Margaret, his loving wife of 44 years, his brother Tommy, his two daughters Jody (Brown) Williams and Lauree (Brown) Arms, sons-in-law Brett Williams and Nathan Arms, and grandchildren Ansley Williams, Aliza Williams, Arbor Williams, Grey Arms, and Bennett Arms.
Steve was happily retired, enjoyed cheering for the Gamecocks, loved his family and church, and never met a stranger.
A memorial service will be held on September 6, 2024 at Chestnut Ridge Baptist church in Laurens, SC. Visitation will be at the church from 4-5 followed by a service at 5 o’clock.
