James Dorroh Hairston, III, of 119 Woods Road, husband of Teresa Brewer Hairston, passed away on Monday December 4th, 2023, at his home.

Born in Clinton, he was a son of the late James Dorroh Hairston, Jr., and the late Sharon O’Shields Whiteford.  Mr.s Hairston was a retired machinist.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by children, JD Hairston of Fountain Inn, Jame` Brewington (Donald) of Clinton, Ashley Burke (Shannon) of Fountain Inn, and Sam Brewer (Codi) of Clinton; grandchildren, Zach Hiott, Carson Burke, Jacob Holland, Jayne` Ivey, Landon Brewington, Alex Brewington, Lexi Wicker, Nathan Wicker, Declan Hairston, Aubrie Ridings, Callie Brewer, Marissa Brewer, Braydon Brewer, Isabella Brewer, Layne Brewer, and Samantha Brewer; and a sister Mandy Hairston of Greenwood; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Barry (Bop) Hairston.
