Leslie Anne Griffin, age 76 of Laurens, SC, passed away Friday, March 7, 2025.
She was born in Chapel Hill, NC, and was the daughter of Leslie James Cooke and Elizabeth Westbrook Cooke. Mrs. Griffin is survived by her children, Elizabeth “Lisa” Cooke Rodriguez of Hickory Tavern, SC; Oliver Todd Sellers and wife, Brooke of Bay Minette, Alabama; her three grandchildren, Seth Todd Sellers, Savanna Brooke Summers and husband Robert Braxton Summers, and Jessica Aida Rodriguez; her great grandchild Leathia Brooke Summers. She also leaves behind her sister Beth Cooke Brewer, Leslie James “Jim” Cooke, Jr. and Robert “Bob” Charles Cooke.
Her children would like to thank the staff at Prisma Hospital Laurens County from the third floor along with Heather and Sarah from the Hospice staff for their constant care and love for their patients! Gratitude to Joy Kirby and Beth Brewer for their love and caring they showed Leslie.
The family is very grateful for Faith Baptist Church in Laurens, SC and Paster Cole who encouraged her to be close to our Lord. This church checked on Leslie while she was in the hospital, along with providing transportation to church.
