Tamara Christine Gosnell, “Christi”, passed at home with her family on February 22nd, 2025. With the love and support of hospice since November of the previous year, Christi fought a long and hard battle with gallbladder cancer until she went to be with Jesus. She was born on the 6th of June in 1963 to the late Amelia Faye “Pete” Splawn and Dewitt Talmadge Splawn in Spartanburg, SC. She is survived by her husband “Eddie” Gosnell of Laurens, SC, two daughters “Beth” Gosnell and Christina Long (Jacob) also of Laurens, and one sister, Donna Bumgarner of Spartanburg, SC. She also leaves behind her two grand-pets, a cat named Toby and a dog named Bear, whom she believes will one day cross over the rainbow bridge and be with her again in heaven. She loved listening to music, reading her bible, and watching her favorite Youtube show “Lucky Ferals”. Her favorite color was lavender and her favorite scripture was 1st Corinthians chapter 13 which she called “the love chapter”. She is a member of Waterloo Baptist Church in Waterloo, SC. Her service will be on Sunday, March the 2nd at 2pm at Waterloo Baptist Church. There will be a 30 minute visitation. Anyone who would like to come to the regular morning church service at 11am is welcome! In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Waterloo Baptist Church.
